A performance installation unfolds within two rectangles in safety orange, moving through a spectrum to explore fact and fiction, or some information proving more true than false. We discover that self and spatial awareness require constant adaptation in this new user environment, a level to be unlocked. Human players move together to send signals across a digital system to study an interface, a system, locked in a grid.

There is some seduction of our touch receptors against screen and its cool flatness: black or back-lit; sometimes fold-closed; flipped open; a swipe, then snap to sleep. Some customisations have been finely tuned for our players involved, or shall we say, tweaked to pique certain interests and fixations on shape, contact and form. The algorithm is learning a pattern, and so here we are, having a dialogue in this abstraction.
